  • Pomfret Fish- 300g
  • Green Cardamoms- 4
  • Curry Leaves- 10 leaves
  • Red Chillies-4
  • Chopped Ginger- 1tsp
  • Chopped Garlic- 1tsp
  • Chopped Onion- 1/2cup
  • Turmeric Powder- 1/2tsp
  • Coconut Milk- 1.5cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking Oil
  • Mustard Seed-1/2tsp


1. Wash fish properly and remove excess water with help of kitchen towel.

2. Sprinkle salt , turmeric powder on the fish and spread whole body of the fish with hand.

3. Heat oil in a pan,add dry red chillies, green cardamoms, yellow mustard seeds,curry leaves stir well.

4. Add chopped onion, chopped ginger,chopped garlic salt, turmeric powder ,stir fry for a minute.

5. Add coconut milk,salt and little bit of turmeric.

6. Add pomfret fish,cook for 10minutes,Bring to a boil and simmer for until the fish is cooked.

7. Transfer to a serving dish and serve.
