  • Pineapple-1
  • Chopped Onion-1
  • Tamarind Pulp-1/2 cup
  • Panch Phoron-2.5tsp(cumin seed, brown mustard seed ,nigella seed,fennel seed,fenugreek seed)
  • Red Chilli Powder-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder-1/4tsp
  • Star Anise-1
  • Green Cardamom-2
  • Cinnamon Stick-1
  • Coconut Milk-1.5 cup
  • Sugar-1/2 cup
  • Jaggery-1/2 cup
  • Curry Leaves-10
  • Ginger Garlic Paste-1.5tsp
  • Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
  • Salt to taste


1. Heat the pan, add cumin seed, yellow mustard seed, nigella seed fennel seed ,fenugreek seed .Toast them then grind .

2. Heat the oil, add star anise ,green cardamom, cinnamon stick ,curry leaves, chopped onion, salt .Stir fry all the things.

3. Add ginger garlic paste stir well ,add pieces of pineapple ,turmeric powder ,red chilli powder, salt .Mix all the ingredients properly.

4. Add ground spices, tamarind pulp, jaggery, sugar and stir well.

5. Add coconut milk stir it .When cooked ,lid it for 5minutes.

6. Plate it.
