Delicious food for evening snacks

  • Potatoes-4
  • Chopped onion-4tbsp
  • Chopped green chilli-2tsp
  • Ginger paste-1.5tsp
  • Dry mango powder-2tsp
  • Red chilli powder-1tsp
  • Salt
  • Cooking oil
  • Mustard seed-1/2tsp
  • Gram flour (Sattu)-4tbsp
  • Chopped curry leaves-2tsp


1. Take potatoes in a pressure cooker,add water to boil,wait for 2 whistle.

2. After few minutes open the pressure cooker and keep the boiled potatoes in a bowl.

3. Remove the skin and mash it.

4. Add chopped onion,ginger paste,chopped green chilli,red chilli powder,salt,mustard seed,chopped curry leaves,gram flour,dry mango powder.

5. Mixup all ingredients properly and make a smooth mixture.

6. Take small amount of mixture in hand ,make small ball and slightly press it,give tikki shape.

7. Make all tikki in this method.

8. Heat the oil in a pan,fry the tikki on medium flame.

9. Turn the other side when one side is golden brown.

10.Take a plate,place tissue paper on the plate and keep fried tikki on the tissue paper to remove excess oil.

11. Serve it with chutney or sauce.
