1. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, vanilla essence, milk, and vegetable oil.
2. In a separate bowl, sieve together all-purpose flour, caster sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Mix well.
3. Combine the egg mixture with the dry ingredients, mixing until well combined.
4. Preheat the oven and pour the batter into cupcake molds.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
6. Meanwhile, melt dark chocolate and mix in corn flakes to create the frosting.
7. Once the cupcakes are baked and cooled, spread or drizzle the chocolate and cornflake mixture on top as frosting.
